They talk about a knowledge we’ve lost, the organic material. But they also talk about the desire of finery, carapace, protection, reinterpreted in a playful way.

Editorials...Air Supply for the Italian Vogue
What do Vogue and Steven Meisel want us to realize? That our air is getting more and more polluted, that one day we will have to fight for fresh air. When we will get to this point...what will be more important?
Suffocating on the ground and dressed like a princess or running, fighting for our lives breathing fresh air and dressed because we have to wear something.
I really love these kind of editorials and especially when they have something to say, something that everybody is concerned not only the people working in the fashion world.

PRISM London @ Colette

In case you didn't know...Silver jewelry pieces are back on track! They are super trendy! No panic! No need to spend a fortune on gold, you can save your money for some new clothing pieces!
Here is a brand that I particularly like! Emanuele Bicocchi! It is rock n' roll but it will last because the pieces are not too extreme in their designs. I'd rather spend in something that will last for many years than in something that I will call a "one shot"! And between you and me, the bracelet in the 3rd picture, is my favorite piece! It suits all different kind of style like something rock n' roll, more elegant or simple.

Streets of Zurich...Juliana, very Glam!
When I was walking around in the "happening" area in Zurich, I found this really cute store, Glam. I was very attracted by what Juliana, the owner, was wearing! That SHIRT! What do you think about her shirt? I loved her style! She said: "the shirt is from Fornanira, you know this Italian Brand?" Yes of course I know! I asked her if she had another one for me but it was from the last Summer collection! Too bad!

Introducing...Camilla Skovgaard, A Great Shoe Designer
Graduated in 2003 from the Cordwainers Shoes College and in 2006 from the Royal College of Art in London, Camilla Skovgaard has been awarded already a several times.
She has collaborated for the past 7 seasons with the British Fashion house Mathew Williamson and continues collaborating with established and well-known designers.
An amazing style, a great personality! Camilla has designed shoes that combines edgy with modernity and a severe personality. A perfect combination.
And the leather and work quality are really showing.

Fashion Shows...Trendy Alexander Wang
Alexander Wang is from far, one of my favorite SS10 collection! I love it!
The next Summer trends are:
- Sporty
- Low heels
- The white shirt
- Animals prints
- Trench coats
- Small bags
- Designed Shoulders
Seriously, this fashion show was THE trend setter catwalk! I wish I could buy the whole collection ;)
If I have to turn this catwalk into a movie scene, I would imagine that these sexy school mates had raided the locker room of a football team and armed with pairs of scissors they turned their clothes into sporty and trendy sportswear paired with leather jackets or leather shorts! Some timeless pieces like your old sweater can turn into a super cool sporty and trendy piece for the next Summer! Why not trying to do the same! Or simply getting dressed normally and break the outfits with an over-sized sweater!
